Data protection and safety

Data collection:

SW-MOTECH GmbH & Co. KG (henceforth referred to as "SW-MOTECH") collects data during the negotiation, conclusion, processing and rescinding a purchase agreement. SW-MOTECH collects, saves and processes these data.

Your visit to the websites of SW-MOTECH will be recorded. SW-MOTECH will essentially register the IP address currently used by your PC, the date and time, type of browser and operating system of your PC as well as the sites you looked at. As a rule SW-MOTECH is not able, nor does SW-MOTECH intend, to relate the data to a specific person.

Data use and transfer:

All personal data with which you provide SW-MOTECH in connection with e.g. an order or via e-mail (e.g. your name, address or your e-mail address) or opening of a Customer account will be used only for purposes of corresponding with you and will be processed for the purpose that you provided the data for. SW-MOTECH will disclose this information only to shipping firms assigned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. For the transaction of payments, SW-MOTECH will pass your payment data to the credit institute instructed with the payment.

Apart from that, SW-MOTECH declares that personal data will not be passed to third parties, unless obligated by law or with your prior consent. Insofar as SW-MOTECH uses service providers for the execution and handling of work processes, the contractual relationships are regulated in accordance with the stipulations of the Federal Data Protection Act.

Consent and revocation:

If you have provided SW-MOTECH with personal data, you can request that SW-MOTECH deletes your data at any time. Data which is used for invoicing and bookkeeping purposes are not affected by a cancellation/revocation or a deletion.

Storage period:

Personal data provided to SW-MOTECH through the website are stored only until the purpose for which they were collected has been fulfilled. In the case of storage periods required under commercial or tax law, the storage period for specific data may be up to 10 years.

Customer account:

If you create customer account stock data such as name, address, e-mail address and bank information as well as your user data (user name, password) will be stored. This gives you the opportunity to order from SW-MOTECH with your e-mail address or your customer number and your personal password.We use this data without your special compliance only for handling your order.

Use of cookies:

The use of the website of SW-MOTECH is made possible with the employment of a cookie. The prerequisite for this is that you have activated cookies in your browser settings.

The cookie is used to store a randomly generated session code and your customer ID, if necessary. This allows SW-MOTECH to recognise you as a registered customer.

SW-MOTECH will additionally store, if available, an affiliate ID and the page from which you obtained access to our site.

Google Analytics:

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files, which are stored on your computer and which enable analysis of your utilization of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing further services relating to website use and Internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will in no case associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Newsletter:

When you subscribe to our newsletter, SW-MOTECH will use your first name, surname, and your e-mail address with your consent for our own promotional purposes until you unsubdscribe from our newsletter. The newsletter is mailed by SW-MOTECH. The consent to receive the newsletter via e-mail can be cancelled at any time. Each edition of our newsletter contains a link to a page where you can cancel your consent.

"Premission to e-mail advertising

I would like to receive e-mails including interesting offers. My e-mail address will not be refered to other companies. This consent using my e-mail address for advertising purposes can be revoked at any time for the future."

Your rights, disclosure:

Should you decide that you no longer agree to the storage of your personal data, or if the information is incorrect, SW-MOTECH will have the items deleted or blocked at your request, or SW-MOTECH will make the necessary corrections (as far as this is possible according to applicable law). Upon request, SW-MOTECH will send you a list of all your personal data that SW-MOTECH hass stored, free of charge.
