EVO Footrest kit

Is your original footrest impossible to position comfortably? Then the EVO footrest kit from SW-MOTECH is the perfect solution for you. This sophisticated system, consisting of rotating elements with firmly interlocking teeth, gives you 36 options for positioning. The position of the footrest can be adjusted so that it's lower or moved forwards or backwards as well as adjusted in terms of its angle to suit your individual needs. The bike-specific joint adapters are simply mounted on to the original parts of the footrest holder. We'll show you how this works in the mounting instructions.

Nicht einfache Montage, wenn dran, dann sehr effektiv

Die Montage erwies sich nicht so einfach an der F 800 GS, wie genannt. Nach längeren Überlegungen kam ich zum Schluss, nur mit einem dafür geeignetem Werkzeug müsste es gehen. Erst ein mal mussten die Federn etwas gekürzt werden. Rechts beide Enden, links nur das nach oben stehende Ende ohne Biegung. Danach vom Zündkerzen Schlüssel den Dorn eine Seite an der Schleifmaschine das Ende spitz nach der Mitte verlaufend zu geschliffen. Damit konnte man von oben in das Achs Loch die Spitze in die Hülse der Achse einbringen. Mit einem leichtem Hammer den Dorn soweit rein schlagen, das man die Achse hinterher schieben konnte und mit der Achse den Dorn raus drückt, siehe da es klappte rechts. Links muss man den Seitenständer entfernen, damit der Dorn von oben wieder in die Hülse gedrückt werden kann. Hat dann auch funktioniert. Nicht abschrecken lassen von der Fummelei, es lohnt sich auf den grösseren Fußrasten zu stehen, man ist dann sicherer im Gelände Unterwegs. Die Anschaffung lohnt sich. Übrigens neue Hülsen für die Achse waren bei mir nicht mit dabei, habe die alten aufgearbeitet und etwas gekürzt, dass diese rein passen. Die Rasten sind sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und ihr Geld wert!!
